Terms for Guides and Newsletter

1 Scope

These terms apply to the free guides (PDF resources) and the email newsletter offered by BGM³ GmbH, Fabersweg 9, 22848 Norderstedt, Germany, represented by Thorben Schütt, via the website thorbenschuett.de. They do not apply to paid coaching or mentoring services, which are governed by separately agreed contract terms.

2 Sign-up and double opt-in

To receive a guide or subscribe to the newsletter, you enter your email address into a sign-up form. You then receive a confirmation email with a link. Only after clicking this link does the sign-up become effective and you receive the guide or are added to the newsletter list (double opt-in process). Details on how your data is processed can be found in the privacy policy.

3 Cost

The guides and the newsletter are free of charge. No costs arise beyond your own internet access costs. No contract for a paid service is formed.

4 Rights of use in the content

The guides and all texts, graphics and layouts contained in them are protected by copyright. On receiving a guide, we grant you a simple, non-transferable right of use for personal purposes only. Reproduction, distribution, publication or commercial use of the content, even in part, is not permitted without our prior written consent.

5 Limitation of liability

The content of the guides and the newsletter has been prepared with care and reflects our professional assessment based on our coaching practice. It constitutes general information and does not replace individual advice, personal coaching, or legal, tax or medical advice in a specific case. To the extent permitted by law, liability for the accuracy, completeness or currency of the content, and for outcomes achieved or not achieved through applying the content, is excluded. This does not affect liability for intent or gross negligence, or for damage arising from injury to life, body or health.

6 Unsubscribing and termination

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and without giving reasons, using the unsubscribe link in every email or by contacting us informally. Unsubscribing ends the delivery of further emails. Guides already sent are not affected by unsubscribing.

7 Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to adjust these terms as needed, for example if our offer or the legal framework changes. The current version is available on this page.

8 Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence.
