The following provisions inform you, in addition to the purposes of processing, recipients, legal bases and storage periods, also about your rights and the party responsible for your data processing. This privacy policy applies only to our websites. If you are redirected to other websites via links on our pages, please inform yourself there about how they handle your data.

2 Contacting us

(1) Purpose of processing
We process the personal data you provide to us by email, contact form, etc. in order to answer and handle your inquiries. You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, without your email address we cannot reply to you by email.

(2) Legal bases

RIGHT TO OBJECT: You have the right to object at any time, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR that does not serve direct marketing purposes. In the case of direct marketing, you may object to such processing at any time without giving reasons.

(3) Legitimate interest
Our legitimate interest in this processing is to communicate with you quickly and to answer your inquiries cost efficiently. If you provide us with your postal address, we reserve the right to use it for postal direct marketing. You can protect your interest in data protection through sparing disclosure of data (e.g. using a pseudonym).

(4) Categories of recipients

(5) Storage period
Your data is deleted once it can be inferred from the circumstances that your inquiry, or the matter concerned, has been conclusively resolved. However, if a contract is concluded, we retain the data required under commercial and tax law for the legally prescribed periods, generally ten years (see Section 257 of the German Commercial Code, Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code).

(6) Right of withdrawal
Where processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.

3 Web analysis with Google Analytics

(1) Purpose of processing
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics sets cookies and similar technologies that allow an analysis of how the website is used, for example which pages are visited and through which channel a visitor found us. The information generated is transmitted to a Google server and processed there. Your IP address is shortened within the EU beforehand, before any transfer to the USA.

(2) Legal basis
Google Analytics is only used if you have given explicit consent through the cookie notice on this website. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act. You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect, by deleting your cookie settings in your browser or by contacting us.

(3) Categories of recipients
Google Ireland Limited as processor, with a possible transfer of data to Google LLC in the USA on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

(4) Storage period
Cookies set by Google Analytics are automatically deleted after fourteen months.

(5) Objection
In addition to withdrawing consent through the cookie settings, you can object to data collection by Google Analytics with a browser extension that Google provides at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

4 Social plugins

You can alternatively contact us by email or phone.

6 Your rights as a data subject

If your personal data is processed, you are a data subject within the meaning of the GDPR and you have the following rights against us as the controller:

Please also note your right to object under Art. 21 GDPR:

1a) General: an objection with reasons is required
Where your personal data is processed to safeguard our overriding legitimate interest (legal basis under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or in the public interest (legal basis under Art. 6(1)(e) GDPR), you have the right to object at any time, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to the processing; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions of the GDPR. In the event of an objection, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

1b) Special case direct marketing: a simple objection is sufficient
Where your personal data is processed in order to conduct direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time and without giving reasons to this processing; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct marketing.
